- Pioneer Research in Secondary Agriculture: which is available as Master’s thesis of students (three in total), articles, research work, presentations delivered, winter school etc. Globally available first book that elaborates, develops the scope of secondary agriculture was authored and published by Springer. With many firsts in this area to the credit, the field is now widely researched, talked and is developed. The focus is on circular bioeconomy, value addition to primary products and by products with more emphasis on MSMEs, uplift in rural employment and identifying core supplementary and complimentary activities and promoting them to uplift rural economy in India
- Assessed the economic profitability and Documented University’s waste to wealth technologies in : worked on the University’s waste to wealth technologies (mushroom, herbal gulal, pigeon pea stalk products, turmeric essential oil, banana fibre and its products, vermicompost)
- Development of course curriculum on B.Tech in Secondary Agriculture and contribution to DPR for College of Secondary Agriculture in Bihar under Fourth Krishi Roadmap
- Development of course curriculum for Diploma course in Digital Marketing
- First ever application and methodological elaboration of Trade Potential and Competitiveness as developed by International Trade Centre, Geneva. The methodology was applied on Indian cotton and is published in Singh, R. 2020. - Connecting FPOs to market: Branding and development of marketing plan for millet based FPOs under Centre for Excellence in Millets and Value Chain at RPCAU
- Capacity Building on Value Chain and Marketing of Millets: Have trained so far 240 farmers on value chain development and marketing of millets. Other than this over 1000 farmers have been contacted in the state under the University sponsored project on FPOs for marketing of their products. Success stories have been documented.
- Capacity Building in Secondary Agriculture and International Trade– organized ICAR sponsored Winter School on Secondary Agriculture as Course Director and 10 days short course in International Trade as core organizing faculty member, also organized capacity building program on Agri-exports for faculty across India, funded by MANAGE
- Capacity Building on Business Planning for FPOs – Organized BAMETI and MANAGE sponsored programs
